2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR RICHARD F. DUNLAP SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

The WCE PTO offers this scholarship to two graduating seniors annually. Each scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and will be awarded based upon the following criteria: (Please note this scholarship is not based on financial need.)

1. Outstanding service to East High School as demonstrated by participation in various school organizations, athletic programs, and/or activities; and/or

2. Outstanding volunteer service to community as demonstrated by participation in various organizations and activities outside of school.

3. Plans to pursue a post-secondary education (university, community college, technical or trade school).

Each interested student must complete the application (opens in early 2027). It is not related to any forms previously filled out for the East High School Guidance Department. The information provided in the application is for use exclusively by the WCE PTO Scholarship Committee. DO NOT WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE FRONT OF ANY PAGE EXCEPT THE FIRST AND LAST PAGES.

The application deadline is (TBD for the 2026-2027 school year). Recipients will be notified by email and announced at the Senior Awards Ceremony scheduled at the end of the year.
